Take a moment to read this letter outlining the response of Avene Machinery during the ongoing health situation.
To our valued customers,
As an essential service to the agricultural community, Avenue Machinery will remain operating during any crisis that faces the people of British Columbia. As your partner, we stand by you even during the most difficult of times. To do this Avenue Machinery is taking additional measures to protect both our customers and staff.
Currently, Avenue Machinery is enforcing social distancing and limiting the number of people in our facility at a time. We ask that you are patient during store visits and that you avoid our stores if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms.
Each department is prepared to assist you throughout this ordeal.
We are fully stocked for the spring season. For your convenience, you can make parts requests by telephone or through our website (avenuemachinery.ca). On request, we can bring your order to your vehicle. Avenue Machinery is also offering expanded shipping options during this time.
Quickly and effectively servicing your equipment remains our top priority. Our fleet of service trucks will remain in operation. Please practice social distancing with our technicians while they are on your site. Pick-up and delivery of equipment will remain unaffected. Our technicians are following hygienic standards and there are contingency plans in place to make sure they are able to keep working.
Avenue Machinery had intended to hold our Spring Sales Week during the first week of April. It has become clear that inviting and hosting large groups at our locations is unwise at this time. Starting today, Avenue Machinery is posting our Spring Sales on avenuemachinery.ca and we will honour the pricing until April 30. You can call, contact us through avenuemachinery.ca or come to our stores. Call ahead if you wish to view any of our new or used equipment. We are prepared to use Facetime for video overviews.
As a company Avenue Machinery has:
⁃ Increased focus on our sanitation and cleanliness.
⁃ Opened new channels of communicating including a Live Chat feature on our website, Facebook/Instagram messenger, Google Chat.
⁃ Cancelled and postponed all company-related air travel and technician related training until further notice.
⁃ Reinforced our policy of team members staying home when sick. We have also taken measures for our employees to reconsider personal visits to high-risk areas.
Avenue Machinery wishes you and your loved ones health, and a sense of peace as we move forward.
